Job description

Standard days: Monday - Thursday

Standard hours: 07:00 - 17:00

Main purpose of role:

We are looking for skilled Welders to join our team in the preparation and assembling of metal components for welding and subsequent welding of items.

Main responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a variety of hand and machine tools to cut, drill, linish, bend (form), and clean components.

• Perform plastic, stainless steel, and aluminum welding,

• Make precise joints to enable tank pressure testing.

• Assemble finished parts and components as required by production specifications.

• Carry out welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and MMA techniques on a range of fabricated items.

• Perform plasma cutting operations as required.

• Ensure all work is completed in line with company quality, safety, and technical standards.

Knowledge and experience:

• Pre-entry qualification as a recognised Welder/Fabricator and/or a City & Guilds or NVQ certification.

• Completion of a Level 3 – 4-year apprenticeship in Fabrication/Welding is highly desirable.

• Candidates with a Level 2 recognised apprenticeship will be considered, provided they have at least 12 months of relevant industry experience.

• Strong understanding of welding techniques
